I have been a writer and editor for more than 25 years.

I started at OGR.com, one of the first gaming sites on the internet, back in 1998.

From there I served as the hardware & technology editor for Computer Games Magazine (née Computer Games Strategy Plus) for five years.

I moved to San Francisco to serve as Senior Technology Analyst at ExtremeTech for almost six years.

Then, to IDG to serve as a senior editor at PCWorld. I moved to Executive Editor at TechHive, then Greenbot, and ultimately landed as a Senior Editor at Macworld.

I have a passion for helping people better understand technology and build the knowledge that helps them get the most from it.
